Two classes to cover all Mustang street driven cars;
there will be a street cruise (approx. 10 miles)



BAD STREET
Bad street is basically a high horsepower daily driven street car
with bolt on parts and street tires with simple rules


(1) Must have a legal tag, registration and insurance (no temp, transport or dealer tags allowed)
(2) Any bolt on parts are allowed
(3) Stock suspension with bolt on parts no aftermarket ladder bars or four links
(4) No egr, ac, or catalytic converter deletes
(5) Original engine size only, no internal engine modifications, no engine swaps
(6) Stock interiors, dash and seats (gauges and safety equipment can be added)
(7) Fiberglass hoods are allowed (only bolt on, no lift off hoods)
(8) Must run on street tires only, no drag radials (tires you can buy at any tire store)
(9) All lights, horn, wipers, and blinkers must work
(10) Street cars only
(11) All cars must pass racetrack safety tech inspection
(12) Pump gas only no race fuels
(13) Open to all year mustangs


KILLER STREET
Killer street is basically an extreme high horsepower class
for cars that see limited street driving


(1) Must have a legal tag, registration and insurance (no temp, transport or dealer tags allowed)
(2) Any bolt on parts are allowed
(3) Stock suspension with bolt on parts only, no after market ladder bars or four links
(4) Egr, ac and catalytic converters can be deleted
(5) Original engine with internal modifications allowed. Engine swaps to the same family (I.E. 302w to 351w,
     4.6 mod to 5.4 mod. Not 302 to 460. Any bore and stroke 351 = 392 )
(6) Stock interiors with any safety equipment and after market shifter changes are allowed.
     Seats can be changed for safety reasons (to bolt to roll cages )
(7) Fiberglass hoods and trunk lids are allowed (Bolt on or Pin on OK)
(8) Any size drag radials are allowed
(9) All lights,horn,and blinkers must work
(10) Street cars only
(11) All cars must pass racetrack safety tech inspection for their e.t. and m.p.h
(12) Any gasoline type fuel
(13) Open to all year mustangs

8. Minimum ground clearance of 3" from the front of the nose to 12" behind centerline of the front axle.
Wheelbase must be OEM for body style used. Maximum variation from OEM +/- one inch.

9. Towing will be allowed, you must stop at scales, time slips can be picked up at scales.

10. General Rules: deep staging allowed, but track will not wait for a racer to get deep staged. When both Pre-staged are activated, either side stage light will start a 7-second stage count. Failure to activate stage Bulb within 7 seconds will result in disqualification/timeout. (Starter's decision will be final).
Disqualification will be based on a first or worse situation.
Rules on controversial situations will be final at the discretion of the race director.

- Stock style and general shape car bodies.

- Front suspension aftermarket shocks, struts and springs permitted in factory location. Aftermarket bolt in K-members permitted. Tubular A-arms permitted. Aftermarket bolt on spindles permitted. Stock, unaltered frame rails required in front subframe from forward mount of control arms, back.
- Rear suspension may utilize aftermarket replacement springs, leaf springs and/or control arms. Suspension and aftermarket torque arms permitted if factory replacement for year, make and model only. Leaf springs may be moved inboard. Aftermarket sway bars permitted. Mini-tubs and coil overs permitted. Rear frame rails must remain in OEM stock condition in all areas. Any racer who feels they will not be able to make the first round of eliminations beacause of breakage please contact race command within that 30 minute time frame so an alternate can be placed on the ladder. During the first round of eliminations any racer whose opponent does not show will recieve an opponent broke pass for that round.
- Bye runs - all vehicles must take the tree
- Courtesy staging and auto start will be in effect
- After each qualifying and elimination pass, all cars must stop and weigh at scales. If you lose eliminations and your opponent fails to make weight you will be reinstated into the eliminations only if you made minimum weight requirements. If both cars failed to make the minimum weight, both cars will be disqualified. It is the drivers responsibility to verify with each scale, the weight of his/her car prior to each race day. There will be a 5lb error factor allowed

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Stk. Suspension is a heads up class designed for any passenger vehicle from any major manufacturer. Cars are limited to a maximum cubic inch limit of 440 cubic inches. Power adders are limited to a single nitrous plate systems utilizing one nitrous solenoid ONLY. No alcohol or nitro methane allowed. Purge must be redundant in-line with nitrous supply line with only one supply line.


BODY
Fiberglass/Carbon body panels are limited to hood, rear deck lid, and bumpers. Cowl hoods may not be taller than half way point of the windshield. Forward facing scoops are prohibited. Factory front and rear spoilers and wings are allowed. No full fiberglass/carbon bodies allowed unless equipped from the factory. Stock firewall must be retained in stock location. Firewall may be notched for clearance and/or smoothed for appearance. All entries must have operational head lights and tail lights. All entries must retain the stock grill. Full factory floor plans are required but may be notched for roll bars, sub frames,etc. Stock core support and inner fender wells are required but may be notched for clearance.


INTERIOR
Aftermarket steering columns are allowed. The rear seat may be removed but area must be upholstered. Dash may be the passenger area but must be properly vented to the outside of the car. Bottles must be securely mounted using prper bottle mounts.


ELECTRICAL
Optical devices are prohibited. All entries must have operational head lights and tail lights. All cars must have NHRA approved master shut-off switch on the rear of the car. Switch must be labelled "PUSH OFF".


ENGINE
Aftermarket blocks and cylinder heads are allowed. Sheetmetal intakes are prohibited. Intakes must be cast. Entries may utilize a single carburetor only. Motor plates and solid mounts are allowed. Engine must be in stock location. Mufflers are required on all vehicles. Entries must utilize a single stage nitrous plate with one nitrous, one fuel and one redundant purge solenoid. Foggers must be disconnected and all solenoids must be capped off. Nitrous plates using fogger nozzles are not allowed. All ultimate street entries are required to use an engine diaper. All engines are limited to 440 cubic inches. Any engine in question will be measured with a P&G gauge. A correction factor of 1.5% will be used. Competitors may be asked to remove a cylinder head for bore and stroke measurements should any discrepancies arise.

POWER ADDERS
Nitrous - Progressive nitrous controllers are allowed. All progressive equipped entries are required to utilize a maximum 275 DOT approved radial and must use a single spray bar plate only.
Slick tire entries may use a crossbar or diffuser plate but no progressive. Any progressive equipped car using a crossbar style plate must have one nitrous and one fuel spray bar capped off at the plate

SUPERCHARGERS AND TURBO ENTRIES MUST BE STOCK VALVE ANGLE ENGINES ONLY. NO ENTRY MAY HAVE OPEN HOLE OR ANY DEVICE TO DIRECT AIR INTO TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER.
BOOSTED CARS MAY NOT USE ALCOHOL OR ANY OXYGENATED FUELS.( Q-16 ETC...).. ALL SUPER CHARGERS AND TURBOS MUST BE ORIGINAL FROM FACTORY AND TRUE SIZE. NO REDUCERS OR BILLET WHEELS.

Any OEM style automatic or OEM manual transmission is allowed. Manual transmissions must utilize an SFI approved bell housing.

REAR SUSPENSION
Stock type rear suspension only. Stock rear frame rails must remain intact. Minor notching of frame rails is allowed for tire clearance. Bolt on traction devices only. Coil over shocks are allowed. Aftermarket repacement control arms are allowed. Rear control arm mounting points must remain in stock location on the stock frame rail and the rear end.
All mounting points must use a single mounting hole.

A maximum of a 28 x 10.5 non W slick

SPONSORSHIP DECALS & LETTERING
Decals and lettering is restricted to windows, quarter panels, front bumper and front hood scoop. All cars are required to have identifying number posted on front and rear windows.


Safety
All entries must utilize a lower engine restraint / engine diaper. Driveshaft loop required. Fuel cells must be grounded to chassis. Drivers are required to wear SFI approved pants, jacket, shoes, neck brace and gloves with a minimum rating of 3-2A/5. SFI window net is required.

FORMAT:
This is an 1/8 mile heads-up class run on a .400 pro tree with a pro ladder. X275 is a qualified quick 8 field. Courtesy staging and autostart is in effect. There will also be another class called “The Shootout” for qualifiers #9-16, and it will be run on a pro ladder. This allows non-qualifiers to compete for additional points and a place to race. (At larger events 2 – 16 car fields or all-run format may be used)

BODY:
The car must retain its original appearance, profiles, and dimensions. Factory roof and quarter panels must be used. Aftermarket fiberglass replacement panels are limited to hood, front fenders, doors, decklids, and bumpers only. All front ends must be of factory dimensions and cannot be stretched. Aftermarket wings and spoilers are permitted. Complete stock appearing front and rear bumpers are required. A hood must cover the entire induction system. Forward facing hood scoops/ turbo or supercharger inlets are permitted.

INTERIOR:
Factory appearing dashboard, door panels, and driver seat is required. Full Carpet is required on floorboards. Factory floor pan on driver and passenger side required. Bare inside frame of car cannot be exposed. Aftermarket steering column is permitted.

WINDSHIELD/WINDOWS:
OEM glass or lexan windows are permitted.

CHASSIS:
Complete stock chassis and frame rails must be retained. Back-halved cars are not permitted. Front core support may be modified or removed. Aftermarket bolt-on replacement front K-members/sub frames are allowed (if front shocks bolt to K-member then they must be in factory location). Mini tubs are allowed. Rear frame rails may be notched for clearance. Factory wheelbase must be maintained.

ENGINE:
Maximum displacement for all engines is 588ci. Small blocks are allowed any deck height but must retain stock bore spacing. GM Big Blocks are limited to a 10.2 deck height. Ford Big Blocks are limited to a 10.3 deck height. Mopar Big Blocks are limited to a 10.7 deck height.

TURBOCHARGERS
Single turbocharger limited to 88 mm maximum. (GT55-88, Pro-Mod 88, ET-R88 or = mid/large frame turbo). Turbocharger size will be verified by measuring the housing bore at the leading edge of the impeller wheel and must maintain the contour of the compressor housing. Inducer dimensions will not exceed 3.462 inches and Exducer dimensions will not exceed 4.765 inches on MID FRAME turbos. Inducer dimensions will not exceed 3.462 inches and Exducer dimensions will not exceed 5.56 inches on LARGE FRAME turbos. The maximum diameter of the housing bore at the leading edge of the wheel may not exceed 2 mm more than the maximum allowable turbocharger size permitted. Inserts or reducers to achieve inlet or outlet dimensions prohibited. Any type of air to air or water to air intercooler permitted. Turbochargers w/nitrous oxide are prohibited except on 2-rotor, 4 cylinder, and inline 6 cylinder engines.

SUPERCHARGERS:
Cog or gear driven superchargers are permitted, must meet all factory inlet, outlet, and internal housing dimensions. Inserts or reducers to achieve inlet or outlet dimensions prohibited. Any type intercooler is permitted. Cannot combine with nitrous oxide. Roots superchargers are limited to a 10-71. Centrifugal superchargers are permitted. Screw superchargers are not permitted.

NITROUS OXIDE:
Small block is permitted to run any type multi-stage nitrous systems. Big blocks are limited to a single stage nitrous system – A single stage fogger (2 nitrous solenoids and 2 fuel solenoids) are permitted or if using a single plate then your limited to (1 fuel solenoid, 1 nitrous solenoid), and 1 purge solenoid, purge must exit engine compartment.

TRANSMISSION:
Any factory style automatic transmission allowed. Bruno-Lenco transmissions are prohibited. Clutchless manual transmission and clutch assisted manual transmissions are permitted on naturally aspirated combinations only. Electric shifters or air shifters are permitted.

INDUCTION:
Small Block combinations may run any type induction. Big Block combinations are limited to a dedicated single carburetor with cast intake.

OILING SYSTEM:
Dry sumps are permitted on all cars.

EXHAUST:
Mufflers or inserts are required on all cars except for turbo cars. Exhaust may exit underneath car or out the front fenders but must not affect timing or staging beams.

FUEL:
Gasoline only is permitted. Alcohol or E-85 or other derivatives is prohibited.

STREET EQUIPMENT:
Functional headlights, taillights and brake lights required. All headlights, brake lights, marker lights, etc must be on car and not removed for any reason. All vehicles may be towed back from their passes.

SUSPENSION:
Stock style suspension cars only (See weights below for penalty for aftermarket suspension). Four links are prohibited on all cars. Aftermarket direct replacement components such as: front control arms, rear control arms, front coil over shocks, and rear coil over shocks are permitted. Aftermarket rack and pinion steering allowed. Rear leaf springs, springs, shocks, and coil-overs may be moved to accommodate tire clearance, and do not need to be mounted in stock location. Bolt-on or welded sub-frame connectors, rear sway bars, are permitted on all cars. Wheelie bars are prohibited on all cars. Torque arms are only permitted on cars that were originally equipped from factory with it.

TIRES:
All cars with power adder must compete on a Drag Radial type tire with the following sidewall designation 275/60/15. Naturally aspirated cars are permitted to run a 28.0” x 10.5” slick, no “W” tires permitted.

General: All vehicles and Drivers must comply with NHRA / IHRA / SHRA safety rules and regulations. Engine catch pan or diaper is required. Chassis certification and Driver licensing must be completed prior to event. SHRA rules are subject to change based on the National Sport Compact Racing Association's commitment and dedication to competitive racing for every enthusiast. 

Body: Import or domestic compact car bodies allowed. Doors must open and close from inside and outside the vehicle. Lightweight components are limited to hood, doors, roof, front fenders, deck lid, hatches, sunroofs, wings, ground effects, and bumpers only. Quarter panels must remain steel. One-piece front ends are permitted on FWD cars only. 

Chassis: RWD cars may be 1/2 chassis, but must retain stock firewall, stock front strut towers, and floorboards (back-half chassis and mini tubs are permitted). FWD & AWD cars may be 3/4 chassis, but must retain stock firewall and stock front strut towers. Notching of chassis for clearance is permitted. Full tube chassis cars are prohibited. Suspension: All cars must utilize stock style front suspension. Any type rear suspension is permitted. Wheelie bars are permitted. Aftermarket front and rear control arms, struts, shocks, and sub-frame connectors are permitted. 

Street Equipment: Not required. 

Windows: Lexan windows are permitted. 

Interior: Not required. 

Exhaust: Not required. 

Electronics: Two-steps, data loggers, aftermarket ECU?s, and engine management systems are allowed. 

Driveline: Open to FWD, RWD, and AWD cars. 

Transmission: Any type transmission is permitted. Trans-brakes are permitted. Aftermarket bell housings, axles, gears, spools, and differentials are permitted. 
Clutch / Shifter: Any style clutch is permitted. Any style shifter is permitted. Air shifters and electric shifters are prohibited.

Engine: Only OEM 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, and 2-rotor engines are permitted. Any internal engine modifications are permitted. Engine must be of automotive import origin or offered as OEM in compact cars sold in North America. Motor swaps of same manufacturer or different manufacturers are allowed as long as they meet weight requirements. Aftermarket blocks are permitted on 4-cylinder vehicles only. 

Induction: Any style intake is permitted.
EFI or carburetors are permitted. 

Power Adders: Turbochargers, Superchargers and Nitrous Oxide Systems permitted in any combination. Turbochargers are measured at the inducer wheel diameter at the point where the leading edge of the compressor wheel meets the inlet housing. 

Intercooling: Liquid intercoolers and air intercoolers are permitted. Water injection and methanol injection used as a cooling device is permitted. 

Fuel: Gasoline, E-85 or alcohol is permitted. Aftermarket fuel cells are permitted and may be mounted in engine bay or rear of vehicle. 

Tires: All tires are checked by sidewall designation FWD cars: Maximum size slick or bias ply tire is 28.0? x 10.5W? or any size DOT radial tire is permitted. RWD cars: Maximum size slick or bias ply tire is 28.0? x 10.5W? or any size DOT radial tire is permitted. AWD cars: Maximum size slick or bias ply tire is 28.0? x 10.5W? or any size DOT radial tire is permitted.

Open Comp is based on an Open Comp format, which uses a " 5/10ths Pro Tree" start system. Any "door slammer-type" vehicle is permitted. Any modifications, any tires, any vehicle weight, or power adders are permitted. 2-3 step Rev-Limiters are permitted.

Delay boxes (must be removed, see note below), Throttle-stops, Trans Brakes, Crossover boxes, or any "reaction-time related" electronic aides are prohibited.

**NOTE:
IF A DELAY BOX IS PERMANENTLY MOUNTED IN THE VEHICLE AND CANNOT BE REMOVED, THE DELAY BOX MUST BE ZEROED OUT. A TECH INSPECTION MAY OCCUR AT ANY TIME DURING THE EVENT, IF IT IS FOUND THAT THERE IS AN INFRACTION OF THIS RULE, THE RACER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.




E.T. Limits:
The fastest qualifying ET permitted in the Open Comp class is 5.45 (1/8 mile). Any qualifying pass quicker than 5.45 will be disqualified and will not count. Competitor will be permitted to re-qualify (if additional qualifying rounds are left) slower than 5.45. Competition will be regulated under standard IHRA "First or Worst" competition policy during qualifying and eliminations.

Self Staging & "DEEP" Staging:
All Open Comp drivers must stage the car on his/her own without the assistance of a crew member (You can have a crew member make sure you are lined up straight only, but cannot in anyway trip the stage beams).Deep staging is permitted. Please have the word "DEEP" clearly written on all four windows if you expect the starter to identify that you plan on going deep.

Courtesy Staging:
Courtesy staging will be in effect during eliminations. Each competitor must light only their Pre-stage bulb and wait for their competitor to light their Pre-stage bulb.. Once both Pre-stage bulbs are lit either driver can then fully stage. If this procedure is not followed the starter can/will back the offender out of the staging beams and have them re-stage properly. The starter at any time has the right to disqualify any repeat offender.

Lane Choice:
During 1st round of elimination's the higher qualified car will have lane choice. In the 2nd round and beyond, the driver that is closest to his/her dial without going quicker will be awarded lane choice. If both drivers go under their dial-ins, the driver that is closer to his/her dial will be awarded lane choice for that round.

Tow Vehicles:
Open Comp does not allow tow vehicles of any sort in the staging lanes. You can tow your vehicle back to the pits at the conclusion of your run after exiting the racing surface.
